AUBURN – Auburn Gymnastics Center hosted the Showcase of Skills Spectacular on Saturday and Sunday resulting in two level 6 gymnasts earning qualifying scores to advance to level 7.
   More than 200 gymnasts levels 1 to 6 competed at Auburn Gymnastics Center at the second annual competition for the local club. Saturday’s competition included the center's beginning level gymnasts who are as young as 3 years up to the boys level 6 while Sunday’s competition included level 4, 5 and 6 girls.
   Kaitlyn Woytus and Katie Ring competed as level 6 gymnasts and in a nail biting competition the two both earned enough on all four events to advance to level 7.


“We are very proud of the two of them they had a big job ahead of them and they did it!”

The center will continue training all levels through the summer as well as offer summer camps for children ages 3 and up Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $80 a week.

 

Beginning June 25 the club is offering Summer Fun Friday workouts from children ages 3 and up for just $20 from 12 to 3 p.m. and on Saturday, June 26 in the monthly Parent’s Night Out from 5 to 9 p.m. for $20 a child.
