Auburn gymnasts win team gold!

AUBURN - The Auburn Gymnastics Center girls’ optional season got underway in Rancho Cordova at Technique Gymnastics at the 2013 Golden State Classic this weekend with strong starts from the girls’ level 7 and X-Cel Gold teams.
Head coach Jennifer Christenson believes the girls have the skills necessary to once again be one of the area's best contenders for state event titles.
“The teams brought home four first place event medals and won first place as a team at their first showing of the year. I would say we are off to a great start,” Christenson said. "They have the skills and talent to do well this season, but we have to work on being consistent at practice.”
