  AUBURN – Auburn Gymnastics Center gymnasts are coming off a strong weekend of meets delighted and proud as every competitor – boys and girls - placed in the top two at every level and every age division.
Auburn Gymnastics Center’s USA Gymnastics boys and girls’ level 5, 6, 7 and 8 gymnasts competed Saturday and Sunday in Grass Valley at the 2012 Foothills Classic. With more than eight teams from area gyms and 75 participating gymnasts, the sanctioned meet is one of the final opportunities to earn qualifying scores for state and regional competitions hosted around California in March and April.
   In the Saturday afternoon session, 10-year-old Bryce Dunigan took first place on floor (14.2), third on pommel horse (13.7), second on rings (14.3), fourth on vault (14.9), sixth on the parallel bars (13.3), third on the high bar (14.5) and second in the overall rankings.
   On Sunday 13-year-old level 6, Allyson Osborn, placed first on vault (8.6) and bars (7.0) and third on beam (8.1) and floor (8.1) winning the level six meet in the overall.
   Level 7, 11-year-old, Madison Candler won beam (9.0), took second on vault (9.1) and floor (8.8) and third on bars (8.05). Candler was second in the all-around.
   Level 8 gymnasts 13-year-old Elizabeth Jordan and 13-year-old, Janna Woodward took first and second place respectively. Jordan won first on vault (8.25), bars (8.8) and floor (9.2) and in the overall (34.875). Woodward won second on bars, floor, and in the overall.
